Lisa has been with Select for over 20 years and offers a wealth of recruitment experience within the Technical and Executive divisions. Lisa has extensive knowledge across a range of sectors including Civil, Mining, Engineering, Construction, Primary Industry, Education and Utilities. Her experience includes psychometric assessment and evaluation, as well as human resource consultancy and project management. Lisa uses her strong analytical capability to deliver effective candidate measurement and evaluation, ensuring the right candidate is selected for the job.
Before joining Select in 2012, Marlene had a successful career in the service industry covering Operational, HR and Revenue Management. With a strong working knowledge of human resources and management, Marlene leads the Commercial Division at Select. Working alongside a temping consultant and Commercial Business Manager, Marlene ensures our candidates and clients are well matched that the process runs smoothly for everyone involved. She also looks to generate or chase opportunities for our pre-qualified candidates in temping, fixed term or permanent positions.
Jessica has a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology and utilises this skillset as our Search & HR Analyst. Jessica has strong experience working with people and engaging to reach effective and innovative solutions. She thrives on new challenges and is extremely solutions focused. Jessica covers the wider business and offers relevant support to all divisions.
After gaining a Bachelors of Commerce in Management and Tourism, Liz held variety of roles in New Zealand across administration, education and hospitality. She has spent the last 4 years in Whistler, Canada working in the events industry as well as managing a busy café. Her well rounded skills and experience working in fast paced environments with a variety of people means she is well suited to a career in recruitment.
Before joining Select’s Industrial division, Gemma worked in regional retail management. As an Area Manager for an Australasian Retail chain, she gained an understanding of business drivers, operations, HR and staff management. Gemma works closely with clients and candidates to match the right person to the right job, and is dedicated to putting hard working and skilled candidates into great roles. With a work history in Compliance, Health and Safety and Human Resources, Matt brings a valued and wide variety of skills to the Industrial team. Matt has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Statistics, Diploma of Humans Resources Management and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management.
Helen has been a part of the Select Team since 2002. Her focus is systems, IT and compliance including health and safety administration and the office manager. Ensuring that our candidates are safe at work is integral to our business, and Helen approaches this with a practical approach and strong attention to detail. Helen has an in-depth working knowledge of our people, our systems and our business; and in particular, what separates us from competitors.
Since joining Select, Jane has assisted many divisions within the business, ensuring all of our candidates and clients are put into contact with the right consultant. Predominately managing reception and general administration, Jane is often the first face you see when you visit Select. With previous experience in one of Central Otago’s busiest tourist destinations, Jane is knowledgeable, capable and ready to assist.
Wendy’s role as Administrative Assistant provides valuable support across all divisions of the business. Wendy has extensive experience in financial banking and customer services roles which have provided her with great attention to detail and a systems orientation. Her willingness and drive to assist our business ensures information is accurate and readily available, so that we can promptly place great candidates.
Prior to joining the team at Select, Kelsi gained several years experience in Regional/Area Management across Hospitality & Retail in both Australia and New Zealand. Overseeing large businesses and teams, she has obtained valuable knowledge in Operations, HR and People Management and thrives in a fast paced environment. She has a passion for building relationships and enjoys understanding needs, wants and motivators to help people achieve.
Kelsi brings her experience to assist both clients and candidates in aligning strong skill and culture fit, to ensure a smooth process and successful outcome within the Technical Division.
Having previously worked for a large government organisation in Brisbane, Nina brings her Health & Safety and legislation experience to her role as Candidate Consultant here at Select. Her experience in training, sales, event coordination and hospitality has enabled her to have a great understanding of the need to have the right person in the right role and a good understanding of many different types of businesses and their needs from working with 10X Business Coaching Brisbane.
