Executive Assistant/PA

St Hilda's Collegiate School is a high achieving decile 10, state integrated Anglican School for 450 girls situated in the heart of Dunedin city.

The school has an opportunity for a highly experienced Executive Assistant/PA. The role will provide personal assistance, secretarial and administrative; and project management support to the Principal. This is a position that offers considerable diversity and would suit an experienced professional with advanced administration, secretarial and IT skills.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Diary management, scheduling of appointments and daily agendas
  • Providing general administration and secretarial support to the Principal
  • Act as Board Secretary for the Board of Trustees and the Board of Proprietors
  • Publishing and developing material for the school's communications, website, and marketing materials
  • Research, co-ordinate and collate information for projects and events
  • Receive and manage calls, mail and email correspondence on behalf of the Principal
  • Preparing presentations using Power Point/Keynote.

To be successful in this position you will possess:

  • A relevant background within a EA/PA role and strong administration skills
  • Advanced IT skills - MS Office Suite, InDesign
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Maturity, integrity and a high degree of professionalism
  • Advanced problem solving skills, combined with initiative and an ability to multitask
  • An ability to achieve deadlines and results within a dynamic environment.
