Are you an ambitious, energetic, and experienced Events Manager or Hospitality Manager who is keen to develop their skills and work at a Dunedin treasure and iconic tourist attraction? Managing events end to end, your role will see you delivering exceptional experiences - one day you may be immersed in a couple's special day, and the next you may be organising a family fun day or a special corporate event, so you will need creativity and imagination to understand and realise the client's vision.

The role includes:

• Leadership of the Hospitality team

• Weekend work for weddings and events

• Developing and executing marketing strategies

• Converting event enquiries into confirmed bookings

• Co-ordination of volunteers on some larger-scale events

• Prospective client tours and visits

What we are looking for someone who:

• In organised and process driven

• Can multi-task and prioritise

• Can demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills

• Is creative, innovative and imaginative

• Champions a strong customer service culture

• Has a proven track record of running successful events

• Can maintain a high standard of professional appearance and grooming at all times

• Has excellent time management skills, with excellent follow-up and strong attention to detail
