Business Manager

St Hilda's Collegiate School is a high achieving decile 10, state integrated Anglican School for 450 girls situated in the heart of Dunedin city.

The school has an opportunity for a Business Manager who possesses a high level of skill in financial systems, payroll, budget management and statutory compliance. This is a senior role within the school and offers considerable diversity and scope. The role would be ideally suited to an experienced professional with advanced administration, financial and IT skills. You will also provide oversight to the school's Administration team.

As an applicant you will also bring

  • A relevant background in accounting or finance, a CA qualification would be an advantage but is not essential
  • The capability to prepare annualised accounts
  • A background within Education would be advantageous
  • A sound understanding of Excel and Xero software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Maturity, integrity and a high degree of professionalism
  • Advanced problem solving skills, combined with initiative and an ability to multitask
  • An ability to achieve deadlines and results within a dynamic environment
  • The motivation and ability to lead and work well in a close team environment
