Recruitment Consultant

Due to an internal transfer we are seeking applications from experienced permanent recruiters who have the desire to specialise and drive their own desk and in turn commission earning capacity.

Select Recruitment is a market leader in Dunedin and has a long standing history of delivering a complete range of HR and Recruitment solutions to clients within a wide range of industries. Select is a division of AWF Limited - proudly Kiwi owned and operated.

About the role:

The successful applicant will inherit a highly performing division managing end to end permanent recruitment solutions focusing on roles that fall within the domains of Technical and Trades – growth areas within the Dunedin employment landscape. As a permanent business line Consultant you will be able to:

  • Connect easily with people identifying the needs of your candidate or client, building trusted relationships

  • Provide regular communication to your clients and candidates ensuring high levels of engagement

  • Utilise your established networks to identify talent in a candidate short market

  • Get out from behind your desk and connect with the market

  • Drive the entire candidate experience end to end matching to client role requirements

Required to be successful in the role:

  • At least 2-3 years of proven experience in the recruitment industry

  • Customer account management and business development experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven administration skills in a fast paced environment

  • Be able to multitask
