About the Role
As the Mobile Plant and Workshop Supervisor, you will lead all mobile maintenance and workshop operations across site, ensuring equipment reliability, safety and performance.
You'll play a key leadership role in driving maintenance execution, developing team capability, and maintaining the fleet to the highest operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop workshop and maintenance teams
- Oversee planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Ensure mobile fleet availability and reliability targets are achieved
- Maintain workshop safety, compliance and operational standards
- Coordinate contractors, vendors and service providers
- Support maintenance planning and scheduling activities
- Monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement
- Manage parts, inventory and maintenance resources
- Build team capability through strong leadership and training
- Champion a safety-first, reliability-focused culture
About You
You are a proven maintenance leader who thrives in dynamic, growth-focused environments.
You will bring:
- Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel, Mechanical or related field
- Strong experience in mining, quarrying, civil or heavy industry
- Demonstrated leadership experience in maintenance or workshop teams
- Strong knowledge of mobile plant maintenance and reliability systems
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to safety, performance and continuous improvement
- Current driver licence
Desirable Experience
- Previous mining industry experience
- Leadership or supervisory training qualifications
- Experience managing mobile mining fleets
- Exposure to CMMS or similar maintenance systems
