The Opportunity

You'll lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of robust IT environments across a diverse client base. Acting as the final escalation point, you'll solve complex challenges, drive major projects, and mentor the next generation of engineers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Architect and deliver scalable, secure solutions across cloud, server, and network environments
• Act as the go-to escalation point for complex technical issues
• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects, migrations, and upgrades
• Mentor and develop Level 1 and 2 engineers, uplifting team capability
• Conduct system audits and proactively identify improvement opportunities
• Partner closely with clients - translating business needs into technical solutions
• Maintain clear, professional technical documentation
• Contribute to technology strategy and innovation
• Support pre-sales with technical scoping and solution design
• Ensure environments align with security and compliance best practice

About You

You're a confident, solutions-focused engineer who combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills. You enjoy solving complex problems, working closely with clients, and supporting others to grow.

What You'll Bring

• Degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years' experience in systems or support roles (MSP experience highly regarded)
• Microsoft certifications
• WatchGuard certifications (advantageous)

Technical strengths across:

• Windows Server & Active Directory
• Networking (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, routing)
• Microsoft 365 and Azure (VMs, virtual networking, Azure AD, WVD, PaaS)
• Security tools and endpoint protection
• VoIP experience (bonus)
