Industrial Blaster and Painter
Our client is a proudly locally owned and operated family business, and they're looking for a skilled Industrial Blaster/Painter to join their close-knit Dunedin team.
Based in a busy workshop, you'll work across a variety of industrial and engineering products - no two days are quite the same. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail and pride in your work will really shine.
You'll be involved in all aspects of the painting process, including surface preparation, masking, priming, and top-coat application, as well as prep work such as sanding, cleaning, and taping.

About you:
- Proven experience as a blaster/spray painter (industrial experience preferred)
- Solid knowledge of paint mixing, colour matching, and application techniques
- Confident using spray guns, sanders, and related equipment
- Enjoy practical, hands-on work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable in an active role
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Reliable, with a positive "can-do" attitude
- Committed to safe work practices and PPE requirements
- Understanding of HSE responsibilities
Requirements:
- Full NZ Driver Licence (essential)
Desirable (but not essential):
- Valid OSH certificate
- F endorsement
- Confined Spaces certification
